When my children were little I o en used to sing them to sleep, usually accompanying myself on the guitar. Even then, my repertoire regularly included songs such as Guten Abend, gute Nacht, Weisst du wieviel Sternlein stehen or even Bajuschki Baju. Over the years I worked out instrumental versions of these evergreens and also composed childrens‘ songs myself, without lyrics however.
